      童話地圖是一個會說故事的互動遊戲裝置,藉由移動上方的玩偶觸發故事劇情產生。不同的觸發點會產生不一樣的動畫於下方螢幕中顯示。完成裝置地圖中全部的觸發點後便能得到完整的故事。故事是以大家耳熟能詳的綠野仙蹤為主題。

      童話地圖的發想來自小時候玩的扮家家酒以及娃娃屋,常常都是自己一個人自導自演的遊玩,玩久了難免會有些倦怠。如果在遊玩的過程中可以從玩具中得到一些回饋或許會有趣許多。所以我製作了這個互動遊戲裝置──童話地圖,讓玩遊戲的人可以得到與傳統玩具不一樣的感受。這不只是一個人遊玩的遊戲,兩個、甚至更多人玩都會有不一樣的遊戲經驗。希望在遊戲中可以帶給遊玩者更多的樂趣及啟發。

Story Map is an interactive display that tells story in a different way apart from the traditional storybook. It combines games and animation. Users can move the doll on the top of the box to trigger the story. Different trigger points produce different animation on the screen at the bottom. Once you have completed all the trigger points, you can than get the whole story. The story is based on the fairy tale "The Wizard of Oz".

 

The biggest difference of Story Map and general doll houses are the interactivity. We can get feedback by moving the dolls. It's not just an one-sided game. I hope that the players can have a renewed feeling for traditional toys. And this is neither a toy for one person alone either, two or more people playing together can yield a very different gaming experience. Lets explore the small unknown fairy tale world together.

​技術與方法

     童話地圖是藉由通電的方式將訊號傳至ARDUINO數位腳,再由ARDUINO透過序列通訊連接至processing播放故事影片,影片顯示於裝置的螢幕中。線路的部分是由導電石墨以及漆包線構成。於每個玩偶底下塗上導電石墨,只要將玩偶放在線路上便會通電,促成故事動畫的產生。

 

     裝置中動畫的部分主要是以水彩圖像作為素材,再進入 after effect以duik 綁骨架、key動作,最後進行後製。比較特殊的地方是分鏡部分。不同於一般動畫全螢幕畫面,童話地圖的動畫以類似漫畫的分鏡呈現。鏡頭移動到格子中,格子內的畫面便會變成動畫劇情。這樣的呈現方式能讓遊戲者產生看動態漫畫的感覺,相較於一般動畫更有故事感以及新鮮感。
